About Dryer Vent Wizard of The Woodlands

Dryer Vent Wizard was founded as a result of widespread safety and efficiency concerns among homeowners whose dryer vent systems required an “urgent response.” The unsettling state of most dryer vents in need of service is caused by one or more problems including lint accumulation, vent blockages, disrepair, or improper installation. Dryer Vent Wizard locations across North America combat these common issues by providing specialized dryer vent services including vent installation, cleaning, repair, rerouting, and inspection.

Since our beginning in 2004, the Dryer Vent Wizard franchise has grown and spread across the United States and Canada, working together to make each home or business we service safer and more efficient. Each Dryer Vent Wizard franchisee is committed to making their community safer by offering thorough, professional dryer vent services.

After a long career as an Electronic Engineer, most recently in the Oil and Gas Services business, owner Karl Reebenacker wanted to find an opportunity that would give him control of his destiny while providing a needed service. Karl, his wife, daughter and son, have lived in The Woodlands Conroe area for more than 15 years. The family was very active in the music and marching band programs at The Woodlands High School. Both son and daughter are Music Education majors at a local university and are active in the music ministries of some local churches.
After researching several different franchises, Karl chose to join the Dryer Vent Wizard family. The services provided by Dryer Vent Wizard address a serious home safety issue that’s underserved and most people are unaware of. Karl has personal experience with the fire safety issue. Several years ago, while fixing a minor problem with the family’s clothes dryer, Karl found that the bottom of the dryer was lined with charred lint, obviously from a small fire, which had stayed contained within the dryer itself. In addition to the safety issues, a blocked dryer vent increases utility costs and shortens the working life of the dryer and clothes due to longer dry times and more tumbling.
